Type Locality and Naming
Named after the village of Akoi, Okzhetpes Mountains, Central Kyzylkum. S.Ya. Lapidus in 1992 (460, p. 183).
Synonym:
Lithology and Thickness
At the base, conglomerates, followed by thin-bedded limestones with lenses and concretions of cherts. Thickness 200m. Ya.B. Aysanov et al. (1984) note bauxites at the base of the section.

Lower contact
Overlies the Dzhuskuduk Fm (Juskydak Suite) limestones, with a slight erosion
